Note	[Harold Grinstead Family.FTW] Edward Walton Grinstead and Cathrine Donavan were married in Washington Co., Virginia on Feb. 20, 1810 and according to the 1820, 1830, 1840 and 1850 census they remained there. Census records indicated that he was a farmer. The census which was taken 23 Aug 1850 listed Edward as being 63 years old and Cathrine as 60. They were living in the 67th District of Washington Co. and in house 643. Three children were living with them. They were listed as Joseph (20), Nancy (19), and Jany (17). The writing was terrible and hard to read. It may have been Jasper, Nancy and Sally. Also a John Rouse (21)was living with them.
