Born May 27, 1915. in Signal, Ariz., Mrs. Alvarez had lived in Reno for six years, moving from Kingman, Ariz. Survivors include her sons, Cameron of Reno, Felix Rodriguez of Houston, Texas, and Gilbert Rodriguez of Hawthone, Calif.: daughters, Charlotte of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Rose Mary Green of Gardena, Calif., Andrea Velarez of Lawndale, Calif., and Henrietta Robles of Las Vegas; brothers, Ray Garcia of Las Vegas and Henry Olea of Eugene, Ore.; sister Lola Esparza of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 35 grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7p.m. Wednesday at Walton Funeral Home, Reno. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10a.m. Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Cathedral. Born Nov. 10, 1937, in Hackberry, Ariz., she died Aug. 10, 1995. She is survived by four daughters, Maria Parga of Chino, Tanya Barrera of Santa Clarita, Lillian Steward of Torrance and Yvette Aguiar of Long Beach; five sons, Randy of Redondo Beach, Gregory of Gardena, Andre of Gardena, Rene of Arizona and Fernando of Hawthorne; a brother, Gilbert Rodriguez of Arizona; and two sisters, Charlotte Alvarez of Arizona and Henriquetta Robles of Nevada. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. at Rice Mortuary, Torrance. Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary chapel. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pacific Crest Cemetery, Redondo Beach. |
