Note | Buried in Vernon, Texas, Eastview Cemetery (phone: 940-553-3601) in Block 3, lot 73, space 6. Twelve spaces were purchased by J.B. Barnfield but only three were used as of 9/97. Clarence Barnfield is in space 4; C. Hill in space 5. Both of these are unmarked. C. Hill may be part of the Henry Hill family that Maggie married into after John Bunyan died. John has a large tombstone on his grave about 4ft. tall and 2ft. wide. His epitath is "Gone, but not forgotten." The gates of heaven are at the top. |
