Note	In these notes on the back of Lamuel Potter Barnfield's death certificate, Katy (his daughter-in-law) says that Potter's father's name was John Bunyon Barnfield, and not William Casy Barnfield as given by the informant for the death certificate, Lee Barnfield (Potter's son). Katy said that Potter himself told her that his father was John Bunyon Barnfield and she believed him because "Potter was many things, but he was not a liar." She also thought that the informant, Lee Barnfield, who gave the name of William as the father, was big storyteller and probably made the name up. (Obtained this information through conversations with Katy)
